Celebrating our Aga Khan Laureate: A visit to Vision Pakistan (November 2025)

Students of SADA visited the Aga Khan Award–winning project by Saifullah Siddiqui of Vision Pakistan, gaining firsthand insight into how socially grounded design can meaningfully reshape communities. The visit allowed them to experience the project’s spatial strategies, material intelligence, and community-driven processes up close, illustrating why it earned global recognition for architectural excellence and social impact. Engaging with the site and learning about Ar. Saifullah Siddiqui’s vision helped students understand the profound role architects can play in enabling dignity, resilience, and inclusivity through thoughtful design. The experience left them inspired to pursue practices rooted in empathy and sustained community engagement.
