Muse Design Awards 2023

Ms. Maryam Abbas from the Bachelors in Industrial Design program received recognition for her graduation project conceived during her final year at the NUST School of Art, Design & Architecture (SADA-NUST). Ms. Abbas’s thesis project titled: Neurocle was awarded the prestigious International Muse Design Award 2023 in the category: Product Design – Educational Tools / Teaching Aids / Learning Devices.

Neurocle, a therapy assistive toy for children with Hemiplegic Cerebral Paslsy, was recognized for its exceptional contributions in improving posture, grip strength, muscle development, and motor skills. The Muse Design Awards is an international competition that recognizes exceptional achievements in the field of design. The awards are organized by the International Awards Associates (IAA), a group of industry professionals dedicated to promoting excellence in creative fields.

The project undertaken by Ms. Maryam Abbas was supervised by SADA faculty member, Asst. Prof. Jawwad Zaidi.
